Sometimes they need to hear to have a seat. If you can keep your cool and know that you have a right to say your say, then you at least feel like you made your point, even if they were too closed minded to listen to you. A big hug!
Do Something Saturday~that empowers people is an outreach of the Leon and Mary Fields Organization designed to help the homeless population, low income families, seniors and children.
Today I watched your video, Kengi, about 2 years of service.
There were so many beautiful people in that video. Sooooo many smiles and so many satisfied, content, happy people.

I feel all of your pain, that is really something that hits close to home for everyone because it is so personal, it your mouth!!! And, I can not imagine that anyone should have to deal with that pain. Don't forget your american right to prosecute...

- What are some of your thoughts or views on homelessness?
- In a place with so many resources and so much to share, I think that we have huge potential to help those who could use a roof over their heads, shelter, some place to quench their thirst, fill their bodies with good nutrients, or soothe their spirits with whatever they need..and without judgement, without racism, without anything but an open hand. Anyone can find themselves without a home, but everyone should be willing to help them how they can.
- What are some of your thoughts or views on gays and lesbians?
- Equal rights for everyone. Sexuality is a natural part of every human being and each human being is uniquely wired. Sexuality seems to be more a sliding scale then just one equation..man plus woman equals good, nothing in this universe is standing still, everything is in motion, things are never constant, so how can we say there is one sexuality.
- What are your thoughts and views on HIV/AIDS?
- I don't know a lot about HIV/AIDS, but it seems that perhaps there is a lot we can do with eduction and support. I hope that we can stop the spread and cure those who have it, and in the meantime offer resources to those people who need them.
- If you could change one thing about the world we live in what would it be?
- More sharing, more equality (through education in part).

- I am a woman, almost 30, living in Hamburg, Germany, from many places, an Army brat who still lives that lifestyle, trained as a German teacher, but teaching English and trying to learn the most I can and be the best person I can for the benefit of as many people as possible.

I am grateful for...

- WOW, I so needed this comment today Anna. I am fighting the first stages of a cold and I did my labs today. Plus my Unpluggin HIV outreach is this weekend, so I am a bit tired, stressed and excited all at the same time.
WOW that be so cool to be able to travel like I use to and if I am ever able to do that I am so coming to see my SUSTA in Germany.
