Get in touch with an organization called Being Alive. They are located in West Hollywood. 621 North San Vicente Boulevard. (310) 289-2551

My friend Kelly tells me you should get in touch with Bart Stevens. She tells me he is great and could get you plugged into some support groups that would work well for you. I am told he is a good guy, very respectful and very kind.

I hope this helps. Call me if you need me

WOW
Lyndia. How funny is it that I just met with Bart this afternoon and now you are telling me about the organization he is with and he skills.

Tell Kelly she is so right. Bart was everything she was told he is. I am going to a support group tonight. Thanks so much and I am so sorry to read about you loss. I've added you name to the prayer chain. If you need to talk, please call me.
Blessings

Hello Everyone

Not sure whether I've joined or not. Can someone please let me know?

If I'm - I like to contribute and say I have managed to make good links and good friends since I became a member of POZIAM.com and other social networking site. I feel very privledged to be part of these community sounding sites. It was and still is however, my hope that something like this was in operation where I live in the UK (with reference to the North West of England). Yes I am currently living in Manchester England and sites like these I've mentioned do not exist.

Anyway just a little introduction about me and why I am keen to join this group. For nearly 26 years I've lived with HIV and still living with it (of course), no cure as we know. Although I am free of medication and ongoing treatment relating to my status. Yes no meds ever. I have an ongoing commitment to enable people here where I live in the UK, but empower people from all over the world with various sources of information so you (we) and I can make our own choices and decisions about our life.

I would like to quote one of my all time favourite old chinese proverb and it goes like this:
"Tell Me > I May Listen.
Show Me > I May See.
Involve Me > I Will Understand."

Best wishes one and all

Michael Snaith

This is the 3rd time after both my radiation and chemo that I"m going for my MRI this thursday. *fingers crossed* it will be clear. I guess i'm going to have to get used to this...the MRI's, the claustrophobia and the trying to find my veins. And ...
